MEI Bootcamp

Join the Maine Education Initiative on Saturday, May 30 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Sportsman’s Alliance of Maine headquarters in Augusta, located at 205 Church Hill Rd, Augusta, ME 04330.

The day’s session will focus on policies school boards can enact surrounding School Based Health Centers (SBHCs) and Intra-District Open Enrollment. 

Jenn McWilliams of Courage Is A Habit, Jonah Davids of Maine Policy Institute, and Rep. Mike Soboleski will discuss SBHC policy developments at the state and national levels. Aaron Salt of School Boards for Academic Excellence will host a session on intra-district open enrollment policies and how school boards can ensure families have access to any school within their district.
